How to compress DVD video?
Free download DVD compressor, install and launch it.
Step 1. Input Video
Click Load DVD button in Files Menu. If you want to convert videos of other formats to DVD video, load the videos needed to convert. If you want to simply compress DVD video, load the DVD folder or IFO files.
Step 2. Choose output format
Choose DVD as the output format from Profile drop-down list.
Step 3. Compress Videos
There are three ways provided to compress video, choose any one as you want.
1) Adjust video quality
Open Video Quality drop-down list on the right panel to intuitively adjust output quality.
2) Adjust encoding settings
Click Profile Settings button on the upper right to set NTSC or PAL standard, Video Size, Bitrate, Frame Rate, Sample Rate, Zoom mode, etc.
3) Use Bitrate Calculator
Open Video Quality drop-down list or choose Tools menu, then select Bitrate Calculator to open the handy tool, then you can input a file size and compress video to assigned size at the cost of Video Bitrate (video quality).
Step 4. Compress Video
Click 
button on the tool bar to start the compression.
Tip: Before you start converting and compressing, you can use the splitting function to split video by time length or file size. You can find it on the right panel.
